Hearts Cut Out at CU-Boulder!

In cruel classroom biology and psychology experiments at the University of Colorado–Boulder (CU-Boulder) ...

  • Students cut off frogs' heads and experiment on the animals' muscles, skin, and nerves
  • Terrified rats are forced to swim in water mazes
  • Live rats are cut open in order to apply drugs to their exposed, beating hearts.

Effective non-animal teaching methods are available and have repeatedly been shown to teach biology and psychology as well as or better than animal-based lessons. Even the University of Colorado's Denver campus has confirmed it doesn't use any live animals in its classrooms!

Write to CU-Boulder official Dr. Russell Moore and politely ask him to replace the school's cruel and deadly classroom experiments on rats and frogs with humane, non-animal teaching methods.
