'Anchorman 2': Horror Movie for Orcas

orcas

Despite receiving letters from PETA about how orcas at SeaWorld are cruelly denied everything that is natural and important to them, the producers of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues still plan to feature SeaWorld in the upcoming film.

There's nothing funny about the cruelty at SeaWorld.

In the wild, orcas swim as many as 100 miles every day. At SeaWorld, they're forced to swim in circles in small concrete tanks and to perform circus-style tricks for food.

As the critically acclaimed film Blackfish reveals, this constant deprivation leads the orcas to lash out: SeaWorld lists more than 100 incidents of orca aggression—including injuries to trainers and even one trainer's death—in its incomplete records.

The filmmakers of Pixar's Finding Dory recently changed the film's ending after viewing Blackfish and learning about the cruelty inherent in keeping intelligent marine mammals captive in tiny tanks.

Please urge Anchorman 2 producers to follow in Pixar's footsteps and remove all scenes shot at the theme park from the film!
