Hunting contests such as the annual "Coyote Drive" in Modoc County, California, involve groups of hunters who kill as many animals as they can, all for stupid prizes and bragging rights. Many wild animals wounded during these cruel events are not found and endure slow and painful deaths. And dogs, cats, and "nontarget" wildlife—including protected species—are at risk of being mistaken for targets and injured or even killed!
Animals need your help: On April 16, the California Fish and Game Commission will discuss possibly banning these bloody events, and YOUR voice is super important!
