Flying Dolphins to China?!

Zhonghong Zhuoye Group—a Chinese real estate and investment group—has purchased stock in SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc., meaning that it'll be able to open SeaWorld parks in China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

SeaWorld is already horrible for living beings, and China has ZERO FEDERAL ANIMAL WELFARE LAWS, so can you even imagine what hell life would be for animals in these new parks?

Even Mitchel Kalmanson—the abusive animal exhibitor who confined big cats to cages 24/7 for up to 7 weeks while on the road with UniverSoul Circus—said, "The Chinese [marine parks] treat the mammals like commodities that they can throw away." That's like the devil calling something too evil.

SeaWorld says that it won't send orcas overseas, but hold your applause—this does nothing to protect the other dolphins and whales who could still be flown halfway around the world like cargo. Plus, there's nothing preventing the company from capturing orcas or importing them from sources other than SeaWorld.

Marine mammals don't belong on airplanes OR in tanks. This plan needs to be stopped before it ever starts.

Tell Zhonghong Zhuoye Group that you don't want it to open parks that imprison animals, and ask it to opt for parks that that feature only innovative non-animal attractions!
