Donate Now to Defend Animals

PETA supporters are leading the revolution for animal rights, and your gift will defend animals facing horrific abuse. For as little as $5, you can provide a neglected dog with a week’s worth of food, and a generous gift of $350 can help supply PETA investigators with the resources that they need to reveal the cruelty that animal abusers try desperately to hide.

You can be confident that your contribution to PETA will go straight to work helping animals—by ending horrifying experiments, funding investigations to expose cruelty on massive farms, stopping animals from being abused and killed for their skin, rescuing dogs and cats from neglect, and much more.

Together, we’re making the world a better place for all beings. Please, give what you can today.

PETA entities have more than 9 million members and supporters globally, and PETA is the largest animal rights organization in the world.

In the last year alone, the support of committed donors helped us achieve the following:

PETA’s Emergency Response Team handles more than 250 cruelty reports every week.

For years, PETA fieldworkers had been visiting Brownie, a neglected “outdoor dog,” doing all that they could to make his life a little less miserable. They provided him with a sturdy doghouse, dry straw bedding, medicine, and more.

After team members found him so painfully thin that his bones protruded through his skin, they rushed him to a veterinarian—and thoroughly documented his condition in order to pursue cruelty charges against his former owners. Today, this sweet, gentle dog is a beloved family member in a caring home—just like every dog deserves.

Your support powers our vital work for dogs and other animals in desperate need of our help.

PETA is working to end cruel animal experimentation and exploitation.

We’re stopping cruel and archaic experiments on thousands of sensitive animals and promoting the use of sophisticated, non-animal methods that save lives.

PETA scientists and campaigners have persuaded many major food companies—including The Hershey Company, McCain Foods, Kirin Holdings Company, and Pernod Ricard—to stop conducting or funding horrific experiments on animals.

We’re working to shut down cruel and deadly experiments and get animals out of laboratory cages, but we can only do so with your support.

We are a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation funded almost exclusively by the contributions of individual donors like you. Your gift is an investment in our work, which is why we strive to use our funds in the most cost-effective and efficient manner possible. In 2023, over 82% of our operating expenses went directly to our programs fighting animal exploitation.

Almost all of us grew up eating meat, wearing leather, and going to circuses and zoos. We never considered the impact of these actions on the animals involved.

For whatever reason, you are now asking the question: Why should animals have rights?
