Support PETA's Vanguard Society
The namesake of the Vanguard Society is a rescued dog whom the U.S. Naval Research Center in Maryland planned to use many years ago in a fatal and painful deep-sea diving-chamber experiment. After Vanguard was rescued, he was nursed back to health and placed in a loving home.
We also chose the name Vanguard because of what it means: the forefront of a movement. It is our Vanguard Society members who make it possible for PETA to continue to lead the way in the fight for animal rights.
By supporting PETA's Vanguard Society, you are turning your compassion into action in behalf of animals suffering on fur farms and factory farms and in laboratories, circuses, zoos, dogfighting rings, and puppy mills.
Please make a significant contribution toward ending animal abuse and suffering around the world by making a leadership gift of $500 or more.
